Insightful risk management
At Prudential, your interests are our priority. We understand that you don’t want to take unnecessary risks with your hard-earned money. That’s why we take modest positions, constantly measuring our portfolios against possible risks. This approach defines our commitment to prudent risk management.
We structure the level of any portfolio risk to meet our investors’ mandates and risk tolerance – as a result, an entire portfolio consisting of value shares is rare. Instead, we tilt our investments toward value shares, carefully controlling the extent of exposure, while constantly measuring and monitoring risk statistics.
Our strength and reputation is built upon a robust investment philosophy of prudent value investing, a comprehensive understanding of markets and service expertise.
Prudent value investing sees us taking an informed, thorough and bottom-up approach to understanding the difference between the price and long-term value of investments, while carefully considering risk. We aim to generate consistent returns and outperform indices, our competitors and inflation over the long-term.
